Costa Teguise Lanzarote Mini Guide

Costa Teguise is situated on the north east coast of Lanzarote with its amazing volcanic landscape. Is one of the main tourist resorts and only a 20 minute drive from the Arrecife Airport.  This is a good point from which to explore the island’s attractions such as Cueva de los Verdes, Jameos del Agua and the Jardin de Cactus.   Teguise, the island’s capital, is approximately a 15 minute drive away.  This is a quiet town other than on Sundays when the weekly market is held.

The weather is usually very good all year round.  Golden sandy beaches are in the area.  The beaches can be somewhat windier here and therefore windsurfing is a popular resort.  

Windsurfing schools, shops and equipment rental companies are based around the island’s largest beach, Las Cucharas.  Sailing, deep sea fishing, an aquatic park, squash and tennis are but some of the other sports which can be enjoyed here.  Costa Teguise has an 18 hole golf course.
