How do I get There?
You can fly from Brisbane to Mackay Airport or travel by train with Queensland Rail. Greyhound has coach services to Mackay from most cities in Queensland. You can also drive along the whole coastline from Brisbane through Mackay to Cairns, using the Bruce Highway. Once you are there, use the bus service or hire a car to get around and really explore the area.

What Can I See in Mackay?
Take a Heritage Walk around the town centre, it takes 90 minutes and you will see the local architecture and find out more about the town’s history.
