How Would I get There?
Four airlines operate out of the airport with domestic flights mostly within Queensland. Brisbane is the most popular destination and has the most flights.
How do I get to the City?
Airport transfers can be pre-booked with Whitsundays2everywhere shuttle bus service. Car hire is a good option there as you can drive down the A1 highway and be in the city in 10 minutes. You will find the car hire desks in arrivals and you can meet your representative there.
What Facilities Does the Airport Have?
There are 2 ATMs in departures and arrivals should you need them. To browse the internet you can use one of the kiosks near the observation area. If you are hungry go to Flavours Café and choose from freshly made salads and sandwiches or hot meals. You can also eat at Bar, who offer a menu of bar snacks to go with their drinks. If you need to eat on the run go to Kiosk in departures, they have pre-packed snacks and coffee. Newspapers are also available at Kiosk and if you don’t have an airline meal you can pick up one of their snack boxes for your journey.
